The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chênes Carteaux 1er Cru, which yielded 15hl/ha in this vintage, has quite an intense bouquet with black cherries, boysenberry and light floral scents. The palate is silky smooth on the entry, very harmonious and the oak neatly enmeshed with the fruit. This has a Vosne-like personality and I can see this ageing with style. - VM
