Here too there are pronounced floral elements adding a sense of elegance to the intensely spicy red currant and sandalwood suffused nose. There is a cool and restrained mouth feel to the mineral-driven, penetrating and tautly muscular medium weight flavors that possess good power and plenty of punch on the balanced, dusty and lingering finish. This is simply terrific though I underscore that plenty of time will be required for this to fully develop; to that end note that my drinking window is based on the wine in magnum format. - BH
